If you don’t yet qualify for Medicare, Boeing’s medical plan options offer a broad choice of high-quality providers and include coverage for:
- Preventive care services at little or no cost to retirees
- Doctor visits, surgery and hospital care
- Prescription drugs, including retail and mail-order options
- Behavioral health and substance abuse services
- Vision care for routine eye examinations, glasses and contacts
Boeing’s medical plan options include prescription drug coverage. You can fill prescriptions at retail pharmacies or have medications mailed to your home.
If you take a covered medication regularly, you can fill up to a 90-day supply by mail or at a retail pharmacy.
Our vision coverage includes eye exams and special pricing on lenses, frames and contact lenses.
Some retirees may have retiree life insurance. If you have coverage, you can review your coverage by clicking on Health & Insurance Benefits in the top navigation on the Total Rewards portal. You can also change your beneficiary designation on the portal. If you need assistance or have questions, you can call a Worklife representative.
Turn to nationally recognized medical centers and top health care providers for orthopedic, spine, bariatric or transplant services. Eligible Boeing retirees and family members receive enhanced benefits at designated Centers of Excellence, including support for travel expenses.

Our Primary Nurse Program provides a team of nurses dedicated to helping you navigate health situations such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer treatment or preparing for surgery.
