Our top-tier benefits connect Boeing employees with top providers and help protect them and their families from the high cost of health care. As an eligible employee, you’ll have a financial safety net if the unexpected happens.
Boeing-sponsored program eligibility may differ for subsidiaries, certain business unit programs and union-represented employees.
Boeing’s medical plan options offer a broad choice of high-quality providers and include coverage for:
- Preventive care services at little or no cost to employees
- Office visits, surgery and hospital care
- Prescription drugs, including retail and mail-order options
- Behavioral health and substance use disorder services
- Vision care for routine eye examinations, glasses and contacts
Boeing-sponsored medical plan options include prescription drug coverage. You can fill prescriptions at retail pharmacies or have medications mailed to your home.
If you take a covered medication regularly, you can fill up to a 90-day supply by mail or at a retail pharmacy.
Our Delta Dental plans cover examinations and cleanings, restorations such as fillings and crowns. They even cover orthodontia — something not all employers’ plans provide.
Our vision coverage includes eye exams and special pricing on lenses, frames and contact lenses.
Full-time employees who can’t work because of a covered illness or injury can receive part of their regular pay through Boeing-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (LTD) benefits. You may be able to purchase additional LTD coverage.
We help full-time employees protect their family’s income with:
- Basic Life Insurance
- Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage
- Global Business Travel Insurance Benefits
Boeing pays for all three benefits. You may also be eligible to purchase Supplemental Life Insurance or AD&D coverage at group rates.
Boeing offers our employees a suite of voluntary benefits administered by MetLife. We have made various voluntary coverage options available to help protect you from significant expenses and assist with everyday needs. You pay the entire cost of these benefits through after-tax paycheck deductions; Boeing does not share the cost with you.
